where did April go??

man. this month went by a breeze. each weekend i'd be trippin and asking my cousin, where did my week go? time rolls by so fast, it's not even funny. it literally feels like i just turned 22 yesterday and then i realize it's may on monday -- ALREADY!

i guess it's a good thing though, cuz that means summer is just around the corner. yay! i could finally wear lighter (material-wise) clothing and flip-flops. i'm really excited about the flip-flop mania. i already started to buy the roxy rafia ones. roxy has some pretty neat summer collection i'd like to get my hands on. and next week, i'm buying sandals from payless. i hope their BOGO (buy one get one 1/2 off) is still in effect. cuz i want to get this and that. those two pairs are all i want for summer and maybe some more everyday flip-flops that i could wear with my jeans and crops.

oh summer of fling.. i love summer. i'm planning to go on an adventure to the beaches. yes. santa monica and newport beach are 2 of the main beaches i want to go to by bus. yes, by bus, yo!! mac gave me that idea.. i've never been to a beach by bus. and considering how far apart beaches are over here.. it could get interesting. i want to take the "laguna beach" tour and "the OC" tour. mac went to the places the OC usually shoots their series. aww. i want to do that! i'm dragging kristina with me and mac.

speaking of kristina, i'm sleeping over at her place tomorrow. it's her post birthday celebration. i insisted on having a slumber party.. hell yess! i figured, we're getting old, so, we might as well celebrate like teeny-boppers while we could still get away with it. haha. it's going to be fun. i'm making arabic food for tomorrow's dinner.. i just found out that she likes arabic food. dude! those kinds of food cost a lot of money if you don't make it yourself. the garlic paste costs like 8 bucks for a small tub when you could buy it for 10 dirhams in abu dhabi. not only that, indian food is expensive too. i found this vegetarian place around diamond bar last month and i bought a PIECE of paratha for $1. crazeeee-ass jippers. indian food is supposed to be cheap. i remember orderring chai and paratha for 1 dirham and 50 fils.

gah, anyways, i'm so bored! can't you tell? i'm babbling again. i'm sleepy but i don't feel like sleeping. i really should though, i have 2 classes of catechism to go to tomorrow. i'm still debating if i should just let my cousin go by herself so i could sleep in. i'm not really needed anyway since the teens were already confirmed last week, we don't need to teach them anything anymore. our work is dunzo! we just need to ask them if they want to be more active in our parish (y'know, serve and lector and stuff).
